Buyer Information

Red Chilli Export FAQ

Technical information for international buyers

We export major commercial varieties including Teja (S17), Guntur Sannam (S4/334), Byadgi, 273, and Wonder Hot. Our product range covers heat levels from 15,000 to 100,000+ Scoville Heat Units (SHU) and color ratings from 40 to 140+ ASTA. We offer chillies in Stemmed, Stemless, Crushed Flakes, and Fine Powder forms.

All chillies are sun-dried or machine-cured to maintain moisture levels strictly between 10% and 12%, which prevents mold formation and aflatoxin development during sea transport. Every batch undergoes laboratory testing to comply with destination-country Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for pesticides and banned synthetic dyes.

Each shipment includes a complete set of export paperwork: Mandatory Spices Board Sampling Certificate, Phytosanitary Certificate, Certificate of Origin, FSSAI compliance, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Bill of Lading. Independent third-party inspection reports (such as SGS or Intertek) can be provided upon request.

We supply red chillies in 10 kg, 20 kg, 25 kg, or 50 kg PP woven bags, jute/gunny bags, or vacuum-sealed moisture-barrier bags with inner poly liners. Vacuum packaging and compressed bales are available to protect the ASTA color, retain aroma, prevent pest infestation, and optimize container volume.

Our minimum order quantity is one 20 ft or 40 ft Full Container Load (FCL). A 20 ft container holds approximately 6.5 to 7.5 MT of whole chillies (or up to 16 MT of powder), while a 40 ft High Cube container holds 14 to 16 MT of whole chillies (or up to 26 MT of powder). Standard dispatch time is 10 to 15 business days after payment confirmation or L/C receipt.
